I have my share of harlequin stories. And I'm proud to say that I'm kind of immune to the annoying plot development.
But this one.....gosh....I really wanted to slap both MC's hard in the face. Both annoyed me. And I kind of pissed off when Nikolai hinted that Jeffery didn't love her enough to sleep with her before the wedding. What the heck?! What's so wrong cherishing the one you love until after marriage?! Yeah, I know, he cheated,but that's not the general standard in the world though!
I cannot empathize with anyone in this story! It's annoying. And why on earth knowing some sad background story of ML always lead the FL to forgive all the ML jerkiness?!
