Um I have to disagree for one thing when she arrived he showed he no care whatsoever then when he talked to her about how to get closer with the fl lead that should have clued her in instead she hears a about a legend and she just thinks to herself oh i am the destined one so everyone else feelings be damned so I can get what I deserve yeah sorry I do not feel sorry for the little bitch at all
Yh its sad but one factor in the novel that led to Mia and Emperor as lovers: the emperor wasnt interested in Leana then. But now he is. And she can most definitely see that. That's the problem right there.
Leana was kind to her. In the novel she wasnt. She should at least be grateful to her right? And see that the emperor isn't interested in her? It would make more sense for her to "fall" for Leana. Not the emperor when she can see how the emperor cares for Leana so much.

she literally cries because she hates herself for falling in love with the emperor because she feels like she's betraying leana? and now she's being manipulated by the brother to secure her place in the legend?
i mean she is grateful to leana? is everyone just missing the part where she cries because she feels guilty for falling for the emperor since leana was kind to her?
and you can fall for people who dont love you but show some form of kindness. and if she's straight, of course she's going to fall for the handsome and rich emperor who's being "considerate."
I get it she is grateful. She feels guilty now but I'm just sad because in the future I believe she may do some bad things even though "she should be grateful".
And by "fall for Leana" i meant like a friendly way. I'm just used to other isekais where since the "villains" no longer were bratty, bullies or apathetic, the original FL would at some point "fall" for them and become friends. They dont fall for the ML anymore because ML is no longer the only person kind to them. These otherworld original FLs fall for MLs mostly because they have nobody else in that world, scared & alone (but ML saves the day) and they were tormented by villainess. So ML is their saving grace.
So even if ML is being "considerate", Leana was the first one to be "considerate" towards her.
This is just my opinion ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ I do get what you mean by Mia is just following the past story. But I have this feeling in me where she should have felt like this: Leana > Emperor. Since Mia sees how emperor cares for Leana and that the emperor obviously doesnt share the same feelings as her but then she thinks things like: "Does the emperor have feelings for me...?" Like ┗( T﹏T )┛
Also she did a 180 change from being scared of the emperor to falling for him even tho the emperor was very stoic towards her + asking her advice about Leana. She just keeps wanting to barge into his heart even tho it's obviously occupied. （/TДT)/
Look, by all means, Mia is just feeling what she should have felt by the novel. according to the novel, their love for each other should be growing, requited. but it's only her heart that is following the script and falling in love at the same speed. she's the only one who hasn't yet been affected much by the change in script known as the FL - while everyone else has had several months being changed by her actions, Mia hasn't. her feelings aren't being changed since by all means, there is no reason for them to be. i mean, they are slightly, she's feeling guilt (which she didn't feel in the book). if anything, i feel bad for her. she's the only one who's following the script and she's being hated for it. in her mind, the ML is being nice to her since he's giving her freedom and choices. but she doesn't know he's doing that for our FL. she's really a victim. she was signed up for a happy ending, but everyone else has strayed away from the road, and she's left all alone, still feeling what she was meant to, while everyone else has changed.
