They dont know that he is the guardian. Now, I don’t know WHY they don’t know, lol. I feel like it’s for the plot, and ‘something bad will happen, then their guardian will save them.’ BUT also, we have seen a few scenes where the guardian is almost suffering, where he’s under water, or in pain. I think that has something to do with it ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
