Yes because of the name and language. Even if it is written, she only heard it so she mistaken it. For example, in my language, 'Claude' would be read as 'Cloud'. But apparently in its original language, it is read as 'Clau-deh'. In the story, she tried to pronounce it differently multiple times, pointing that 'kaleid' might be a difficult word in theirs. (I forgot how she pronounced it.)

yep she isn't well versed with the empire's language/letters i guess since she's from a different country. She also didn't know how to pronounce he's name and messed up the pronunciation so she didn't realized it first hand. Also, she doesn't know what Kaleid looks like so that also was a factor for her not recognizing him immediately.

Thank you so much!! (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡
Another thing that i got confused was she saw him when that carriage event happened (kaleid killed some pips while she was inside the carriage). So im thinking that maybe it was because of the blood and darkness that she couldn't see his face clearly that time. Or i dunno...
Im on chap 15 and i was just wondering how she didn't realize that he is kaleid when he wrote his name on their contract???? Or.. wait i remember she isn't well versed with the empire's or capital's language?? Letters?? Is it because of that?? Am i correct? Im so confused send help pls
Sorry i cant remember, reading this in chunks and kinda lazy to backread. Can a kind soul help me with this please
