i assume his father bought the painting before picking up the kid from the hospital/ before he moved into the apartment.
Korea doesn't have a very good professional relationship with mental illness. He already got off lightly by going to juvie. If this was real, he'd be executed.
Finally! a story like this with a happy ending!! Its great that he found someone who can make him change for the better and that he was given a second chance in life.Tho, its weird that he went to juvenile than a psychiatric hospital because he have a very shitty childhood, and he needs to treat his traumas and mental state. Also, I really need to know that back story of his dad. How come he became a demon like that?? I guess it will be a very interesting sequel.
Just a guess but maybe the reason why his dad married someone because he wanted to have a son after looking at the "Father and Son Painting"?
