Another point to add, sensei is not doubting the editor’s feelings because of the usual “you were into girls before and I’m your first man”, but because of other more pathological reasons.

The usual plot :
S : i love you
U : there's no way you love me, you're just mistaking it **bla bla bla**
S : don't judge my feeling by urself! I'm **bla bla bla**.
U : **bla bla bla**
S : fine. Then, i **bla bla bla** (Leaving the uke)
The uke regret it, and realize that he loves the seme, searching for him and said "i'm sorry i love you too"
But this manga, there's no such a drama, they're talking it out! The editor really understand sensei, he's not leaving him eventho sensei keep denying it, and he's be like "lets talk it out", he sure know that communication is important
