Now, this makes things difficult for people who ship Niro and Tirasu.
I can't remember which family, exactly, Tirasu comes from out of the three great families in the elven continent, but I think all those families are loosely related. So if Niro is the son of Lunadel, then Tirasu becomes a relative of his in degrees: First cousin, second cousin, possibly even a sister if she's Lunadel's daughter (I don't think she is though)?
So that leaves the future pairings to be:
Evan x Tirasu
Neria x Niro
Which does seem to be what the author is hinting at for future endgame (you know, aside from Evan currently being affiliated with the dark side----which will obviously change if he doesn't die).

Based off the information given in chapter 31, Niro is suspected to be the child of Lunadel (blue haired elf queen) and Khundun (black/white haired mage). As of chapter 32 (most recent), Khundun has made the decision to sacrifice himself to seal that piece of the demon Lord thing, and has left the care of his and Lunadel's baby to Lunadel and his fellow mage, Etramus (the orange haired one), saying that now they'd all the parents to that child.
Somewhere along the way, Etramus must have died or dropped off the face of the earth, and Lunadel either abandoned, or was forced to give up that baby (still suspected to be Niro) for whatever reason. Considering that Niro was found with a bunch of elven people and I think some of them may have been guards(?), I think she was forced to give him away in order to protect him from something or someone.
Commence main line of story...
For Evan, his father is Khundun, but we don't know who his mother is. It has never been mentioned, even once in passing. So, for the time being, Niro and Evan are half brothers related through the father Khundun (who was apparently pretty darn busy during those times of battle, seeing how close in age Niro and Evan are. Just saying).
Muren is the current Emperor, once a slave, that Niro and Evan both admire and look up to. He has zero biological connection to either of them until further notice.
Now, the only question I have is: WHERE THE F*CK WAS GAION, the fifth and final warrior????
He was mentioned in chapter 31 (and when the academy arc first began), but in chapter 32 he is NOWHERE! Undefeated swordsman, where did you go???
