I wouldn't say it's only in the latest chapter. I'm noticing the changes as a gradual progression. Compared to Aki, I think Ueda has developed more in terms of character and it shows. He doesn't carry the same aloofness as he once did. His reactions and responses seem more measured and assertive. Also, his facial features are becoming defined and mature unlike in the earlier chapters when he looked more rounded and youthful. These aspects are most prominent in the current chapter.
There seems to be subtle changes in his behaviour and appearance. Not that I'm complaining, just the vibe around him now feels different from the time when I was first introduced to the character.
