That would have been weird in turn because they both don't know each other. If a classmate suddenly handed you a forgotten object, how did they know you forgot this exact notebook? How did they know that you were going to be coming back to school to get it? It'd be like she was stalking him, and what's worse she has pictures of him as well. Hopefully she won't be confronted about that.
when she could’ve just taken him the notebook and then he could have left early. Like she met him as he was about to go inside the building and if she had his notebook then he could have taken it and left without ever meeting that guy near the window.
