I may be wrong but I think her anger and sorrow stem from her having the hots for the guy who turns out to be gay. Her disapproval towards her brother could be because her first love was taken away from her by a guy. I acknowledge that she doesn't want her brother to end up in the same way but, is that the real reason?!!
