Yes and no. It's creepy to be that pushy with doori. But doori and noah have a level of understanding of what boundaries they have; they agreed on a relationship where they gotta kiss. They know they're not like other friends. The other dude, doori considers him his friend, and he's overly touchy despite knowing what boundaries they're in.
Okay but come on, if somebody came up to you irl like Noah did your stranger danger alarm would be going off big time because none of what he did is normal or okay. It’s fine in fiction because we can just ignore it...but he is acting like a sexual predator. Coerced consent is not real consent and he keeps coercing consent out of Doori. Just because at his house Doori kisses him back doesn’t actually make it okay. I know for comic logic we’re like oh he is actually kind of into Noah but as somebody who was groomed by a “friend” irl I can say that it’s not really like that. When you’ve never kissed anyone before and it’s somebody you already kind of have a comfortable relationship with (for ex they’re gaming buddies) the kissing can feel good and be kind of exciting and you will probably engage in it...but it doesn’t mean you actually consented because you’re being manipulated/tricked and preyed in even if you’re going along with it now and then. It actually leaves you with a lot of confusion and messes with your ability to have a healthy relationship. Being groomed and coerced by family or friends is tricky because you feel like it’s okay or not that bad even when you have shown obvious signs of discomfort and unwillingness. I know the author didn’t mean to write this...but she basically wrote Doori as somebody who was previously groomed by an upperclassman under the guise of friendship and now he is getting pulled into Noah’s coercion more easily because he’s already been through grooming once and it’s already been normalized for him. The author accidentally wrote how victims get caught in a cycle of victimhood very accurately.

I forgot why I didn't like the manipulation in the beginning with how they set up uninteresting, cheap drama (I say cheap because they never handle these types of gooming/coercion plots with the level of seriousness it should be dealt with). I'm so sorry, it was so easy to get accustomed to the situation and it was downplayed with how excellently they used comedy. It's especially easy to be bias towards the ML because he's the ML and to be against the ML's rival because he's the ML's rival.
In my opinion, when the narrative was explaining that noah just wanted to tease doori (something about how he has an aggressive reaction to cute things), that was the time for the ML to pull back and say "yo, I was just kidding with you. Don't do anything you're not comfortable with."
Even so, on one hand, I still consider doori and noah's relationship to be TRANSACTIONAL; "I'll carry you to the finish line if you give me 20 kisses" and I still think doori agreed to that initial TRANSACTION.
But on the other hand, the grooming from both noah and doori's friend is really gross, 1. As doori's friend, it's obviously wrong and disgusting, 2. As someone in a transactional relationship, noah has ulterior motives, seeks for more outside of what they agreed to and doesn't acknowledge doori's feelings or consent when it's time to withdraw his 'payment'. On top of that, let's not forget the 'mosquito bites' noah put on doori when he was ASLEEP (i.e. defenceless).
I could've tolerated this more if the author kept their relationship RESPECTIVELY transactional; noah gets his kisses without pressuring doori and under doori's rules and consent, and doori gets a talented player to support him to the finish line. That way, the ML's rival who does despicable things will undoubtedly be the ML's despicable rival.
Either way, this was a really nice conversation. I better understand my thoughts on this webtoon now.
