I remember there being bias against the whole men who have babies things. So maybe they're hiding it as to not face the homophobia?
I get that. I just find it sad because people usually only hide relationships like that when they are dating. But these two and re married with two kids and Hosik is denying that his babies are his. To me that is so fucking sad.
Yup it's too bad but I don't think Hosik has a lot of choices here. There are a lot of stereotypes and negativity about mpreg. Knowing of how shy Hosik is I guess he couldn't tell thuth.
But he does have a choice? He has his family and his best friend, those are the only people who actually matter to him, and they all accept and love him. So why does it matter what old classmates that he doesn’t even want to see think? I couldn’t even imagine being his toddler and hearing him tell people in public that he’s not his son. I guess what I’m saying is claim those who are important to you.
I agree. I feel bad for his husband and children. He seems ashamed of them. He isn’t proud to say he is their mother, always lying and hiding them. If I was his husband, I think I would be hurt by that tbh. Especially after how many years together and two children...
Yup but korean mentality or asian mentalities in general are different from our western ones. In their society what people think is a big matter. That's why plastic surgery and being slim or success is studies is so important there. They're pretty secretive people cause they are kind of afraid of being different, and so being judged. It's a cultural fact, therefore we can't dismiss it that easily.
He is afraid of being mocked and hated by others, but his kids are everything to Hosik. He is not embarassed of them, see at how he spend all his time with them and treasures them.
I see how the culture plays a part and I had already considered it. My point is he already faced judgement with his husbands extended family and came out fine. So I dont think you should possibly hurt your children, just because you are at risk of people you almost never see not liking you?
It kinda makes me sad that the two of them feel the need to hide their marriage and children from people they know. I don’t know if it’s for Hosik’s safety or what... but it makes me sad because shouldn’t you feel pride in saying “this is my husband and those are my babies” it feels like Hosik is embarrassed. Wouldn’t that make you feel bad as his family if he’s embarrassed of you..
