To be fair Yeonyoung doesn't know the Yeonhwa who blackmails and steps on people. She only knows her as her guardian in juvie and a "reliable" girlfriend" when they lived together. Meanwhile Dahye left the worst impression imaginable on her and Yeonhwa started changing the moment she appeared. I don't really blame her for giving her the benefit of the doubt. Sure, Soobin warned her, but again she knows Yeonhwa longer than Soobin and she was a good girlfriend to her.
Dahye fell for Yeonhwa's tricks, too, and she fully knew what she was capable of.
Just saying, keep in mind what a character knows in the show. Believing Yeonhwa and doubting Dahye isn't exactly unreasonable for someone like Yeounyoung here.

LMAO Dahye fell off the bed. I honestly love her character, she’s smart and a horrible person. Basically a bitch and she’s aware of it but unlike Yeonhwa she is not completely batshit crazy yet. On the other hand i cannot stand how naive and dumb Yeonyoung is, like pls use your brain girl. Her interactions with Dahye in the latest chapters were pretty nice tho.
