I thought the seme said there's a 12 year age gap between them seme being 32 making the uke 20...im just wondering where this manga is taking place maybe Korea?

    Could be wrong but I think it’s set in Japan (where a person is considered 1 year at birth and then gains another in the new year). It would explain them being 32 and 20, and also means their western ages would be 30 and 18.

    I think you’re getting mixed up with the korean aging system - japan counts age like western countries
    although I’m sure this is set in japan bc of the names and everything
    maybe the translator switched from korean aging to Japanese ??? this is kinda confusing lol

    It's very possible that his was translated from a Korean translation. Every time I see a Japanese manga where ages don't make sense, that ends up being it. Because Koreans count age differently.

    You're right, it's mainly the Korean system. I think the confusion came from reading that in some cases it had been used in Japan (but not as a general rule) and thinking it had been applied to the story. Sorry for the mistake and thanks for your help!
