yeah !! I really like it. tbh I tried reading it a while ago, but I just dropped it after a bit, (I don’t remember why exactly) I came back to it like yesterday and my opinion of it definitely changed :)

my memory’s horrible, but I’ll try my best !! spoilers:
- “nino” starts a fire to escape slavery and convinces some dude to be his apprentice and meets edward (the ML) that way.
- she’s inprisoned bc of some bold stuff she said to edward, but escapes using the traps in the building.
- she gets ppl to trust and like her by helping them out w her technology and she becomes the technician in the manor. even cain, ML’s right hand likes her now.
- also, edward’s fiancé’s name is diathe and she’s a bitch to nino.
- emperor comes along and he’s staying at the manor. nino knows he’s plotting to kill everyone at edward’s mansion bc.. she wrote the story after all.
- uhh nino throws up on the emperor and then, out of anger, causes him to fly out of his seat. then shit’s going down. edward sends nino and cain away to a secret passage to escape
- nino goes back to the manor and goes to diathe to get her to get help.
- turns out diathe’s really a redhead and her long hair was just a wig. nino used her wig to sneak in and go where edward and the knights were inprisoned.
- cain, nino, and edward disarmed some bombs in the underground passage and then they met w margo, the emperor’s righthand man, who was defeated, but not killed.
- emperor gets mad but gets stopped by nobles and the priestess. emperor gives up for now.
- oh yeah btw edward kisses nino twice and they got a thing for each other now
sorry it’s so long, I was never good at summarizing stuff in school
