Maybe the charater development will make the black haired guy into a decent guy. Seems like that's what going on.
yeah, i can kinda tell she is trying to make a redemption arc but he apologized and that was it. he did nothing to earn forgiveness. he is just waiting for him to come to terms with the abuse he faced and nothing else. it'd honestly suck for her to dump the one person that was consistently good, which is what she is setting up, for a volatile relationship
