    Perhaps it links back to the prophecy, in total she should have 10 children (according to the prophecy, that is). So it seems that everything is going prophecy-wise, despite saying she would change the prophecy, lol. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

    It alludes earlier on in the series that the previous Hero might have killed Gran's father to prevent the prophecy being fulfilled and that's why he doesn't have siblings.
