oooh 100% with ya, but curious what's your take on alek doing something like that in the first place? just a case of unbridled lust?
So in chapter 79 It shows a flashback picture of Alex when he was looking at Hyun after he tripped at the party, from Alek’s perspective looking at Hen it says “who I wanted to sleep with? No it’s different from that. Is it because of the mark that I’m feeling this way? Or is it jealousy? That night when I started this whole thing.. this isn’t what I had in mind” that leads me to believe that Alek marking Hen was no accident. I’m not sure what the intent behind it was but it does not seem accidental.
To me i actually find Alek a lot worse than Ivan. I think that Ivan genuinely likes Hen, Alek on the other hand has no idea where his feelings as. He uses the mark as his only excuse to sleep with Hen. He claimed he was keeping the mark under control when he slept with Hen, but I don’t think it was necessary.
In addition he continuously takes advantage of the fact that Hen is his subordinate. He has Hen come to his office, the mark freaks out, and he takes advantage of it. He makes Hen come to meetings with him as if Hen is his assistant when it’s simply not Hen’s job.
He does all this while knowing that Hen is in somewhat of a relationship with Ivan. To me, even if Alek has possibly grown to have feelings for Hen, I think that when he slept with Hen or was close with Hen, it felt more like it was about getting revenge on Ivan, than actually liking Hen.
I'm going to be real here, you could see from the surprise on BOTH Ivan and Hen's faces after they woke up together in the beginning of the story. I feel like Ivan genuinely thought he was the one who marked Hen while drunk, I do not think that Ivan sought to take advantage of the mark and have sex with Hen, like some people in the comments are claiming.
Obviously it was actually Alek who marked Hen. I think Hen was originally ATTRACTED to Alek, but I think it can easily be said that Hen really didn't actually KNOW Alek in the beginning of the story. I think Alek is a lot more of a twisted character than people understand due to his upbringing and family situation.
I find it interesting that people will call our Ivan's actions with sex in regards to Hen and call him sleazy because he 'has a reputation' at work, which has already been cleared up to be rumors. Ivan has been nothing but loyal to Hen, he has not slept with anyone else. But tall refuse to keep the same energy for Alek?
