hmmm, funny you mention 'sincerely, I became the duke's maid' cause I've also just finished reading it and came straight here but have no problem??? lol they're already married and sure, no confessions have been made yet but it's like clear he's not trying to take advantage of her??? lmao why you being salty ╮( ̄▽ ̄'')╭

Well I DO understand some people wanting to have boundaries...I guess it's a personality thing..I, for one, wouldn't mind at all. There's a reason a spouse is called your "other half", if you trust them with your heart and mind, then your body and safety should follow. Just like you'll expect to be trusted back. Anyway, it's just my opinion. Like I said, I think it's a matter of personnality. But this kind of nitpicking makes people nervous and afraid of being labeled a perv, an abuser or worse (a rapist)..Of course no sane person wants to give that kind of impression, therefore, people will naturally start being on eggshells around their s/o too and be unable to act spontaneously, which, for me, is one of the worst things that can happen between lovers.

Big oof. I’m not salty bc of the kiss at all ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I also didn’t mind drunk Ale trying to cuddle and love Ibee.
I was annoyed at the note at the end of Sincerely... and at the people in the comments reminding everyone that consent is oh so important when there was like nothing even going on???
For me it just ruins the moment when you’ve read a super cute chapter and then there’s people in the comments trash talking.
But since it happens so often, I’ve kinda gotten used to that. But I’m so confused?? It always feels like my perception of consent or rather, what needs consent is wrong and seemingly everything needs consent now??? But then again there’s stuff everyone else is ok with?? I don’t understand?????
Yes, Alphonse kissing his wife was super cute.
But Ale trying to kiss Ibee and wanting to be with her was cute too. (/TДT)/
Since I just came from Sincerely I Became a Duke's Maid:
Where is ya consent hmmmm???
Arghhhh how am I supposed to understand y’alls morals when a whiny drunk pushing his way into his love's room is not ok (even though the mutual feelings are clear and in the open) but a duke kissing his wife in her sleep (when the marriage was arranged and there has been no confirmation of feelings yet) is ok?????
