I'm just tired of tragedies having bad ending

And I’m tired of authors romanticizing tragedies. Killing Stalking’s author is unique because they wrote the only plot I’ve read thus far that doesn’t romanticize an abusive plot. It’s audience did. I expect this author to not be brave enough to actually show a realistic ending given how I’ve seen almost the entirety of the comment section yet again is panting for an idealized problematic ending as every single other abuse centered BL has done in the past. These authors want to make money so they’re going to write/ draw what will continue to keep their audience. It’s a shame because for such a truly dark and realistic plot it will be ruined by the absurdity of a happy ending that it doesn’t deserve.
