why is the little white puppy's action considered harsh? he was simply being honest and very straightforward with jeanette. if he sugar coated it then she wouldn't have understood or would have misunderstood his intent. by telling her straight up he allows no room for an illusion/delusion of a perceived love. (personally prefer being rejected upfront rather than someone beating around the bush. feels worse when you're let down that way).

also regarding the debate of jeanette being a villain or not. rather than seeing her as a villain it's simply her naivety that get's on our nerves. she is simple, sweet, and always sees the positives of a situation. we all know that one person who only sees rainbows and sunshines no matter the situation and sometimes we just want to see and feel the thunderstorm rather than that. and that is exactly what jeanette resembles. the simple girl who bubble wrapped in her ideals and ignorant of the cruelty of the world. does this make her a bad person? NO. does it occasionally grate your nerves? maybe. but she is innocent and ignorant in regards to the plan of trying to harm Claude and Athy. you can see she genuinely adores them.

looking forward to the update. as people have noted, broken hearted people are the easiest to manipulate. want to see how the interaction between jeanette and her real dad plays out but also ready for the arc to be over so we can see some fluffy claude and athy moments

Yeah, I didn't really understand the hate on Jeanette. She seems like a girl that just really wants a loving family, but seems like Claude and Atanasia haven't really thought of her that way. I hope her real dad picks up that role and she gets someone that puts her first

Yasss! Agreed honestly it's better if athy and Jennette remains as friends not really sisters and that dark Claude stop being a jerk and go love your daughter and Claude and athy resume their lovely relationship
