I think you misunderstood him. Yeah he shouldn't keep secrets, but chanbit was actually more worried that beakyung would do something to yung hyuk. It wasn't about trust he just didn't want any harm to come to him. And considering beakyung spent the majority of their time staring daggers at the guy, you cant really blame chanbit for thinking that way.
what annoyed me the most in this chapter is the fact that chanbit is keeping secrets from baekyung AGAIN...!!! this makes it seem like chanbit doesn't trust baekyung enough to be understanding and chanbit doesn't feel fully comfortable around his lover who also saved his ass (literally) multiple times. i know he's scared baekyung might hate him (which he won't) but he should just own up to his mistakes instead of making the situation even worse smh
