I feel like the story could’ve went so many different ways without the r*pe. Starting with the whole blackmail thing. The author could’ve made him blackmail the MC with some other material. The r*pe didn’t have to happen at all. Could’ve been a kiss or something. They could’ve been rivals without the whole rape to romance thing because it is not romanctic at all. Sometimes I wish I could rewrite stories and tweak them in my mind because the way this story would’ve been so much better without the r*pe and a little more work put into the plot... *sigh*
