The 'One' yes is the yokai's fated love, Beryl my dear editor and myself had some talk about the word to use, so I chose 'One' with an emphasis on the initial letter (like Neo!)... And rape, yes too; fucking somebody in one's sleep, unless you're together in the long run and consent to that practice (which may be tenderness then) is a rape. But of course there will be some explanation. Yet the yokai is honest, if wildly sexual (can you say that?)
