i mean yeah i'm thankful for the effort but it doesn't mean i can't criticize the "translator" (can i even call them that when their korean is seemingly on the same level as mine lol) for doing a poor job. it was a lazy translation. sometimes when doing things, if you're just gonna half ass it then it's better to not do it at all, you know?

I understand what you mean. But, keep in mind that compared to other genres like hentai, a looooooot of BL stuff rarely get scanlated. Official translations are far fewer and it takes years, so we fans should appreciate whatever we can get.
I have been reading BL for around 7-8 years, and back then, sometimes fans can only gawk at raws and poorly scanned manga. Most manga don’t even have raws. So, I’d rather read a poorly translated manga than nothing at all
