I mean my(f) Fiance(M) is way more emotional and puts way more sentimental value on things than I do. It took me a long time to explain to him that we're engaged because we're discussing marriage, and telling people we're discussing marriage is important so they don't underestimate the seriousness of our relationship. But (and this is not me downplaying his feelings on the matter) he wanted us to wait to announce we were discussing marriage until he got me an engagement ring because he wanted to have engagement photos to celebrate the occasion.
Currently still in a disagreement about it but I have a feeling we're fake-not-engaged until he can afford an engagement ring.

Well girls will be girls and same with boys as well, it's just that we girls are mostly emotional and we are giving importance on every little things that came from our "special someone" ╮(￣▽￣)╭ but I hope soon they'll made up I can't bear to see them argue (seriously) ╥﹏╥
