everyone in here is all objectively bad people. some are more deplorable than others but they do bad things and its so strange because I can't stop reading more. Regan is probably top tier bad because he's absolutely bonkers, a drug and sex addict along with being a huge alcoholic and a fucking dick. Ingrid isn't any better because she's manipulative with a creepy smile on her face. I see a lot of people sympathize with hector which I kind of do too because he's just a poor music teacher who just happened to fall in love with the "wrong person" and he gets smacked and threatened and scarred. but he also did get a girl pregnant and I'm not sure he knows that so I guess he gets a pass? I can see the author is trying to make some resemblance of a tragic backstory for Regan and it's not to justify what he does but it kind of helps, I suppose.
