Well, isn't the entire point of the first chapter in anything "ordinary" (and tbh quite boring) to just set up the background.
The author's just rushing to start the story itself.
There are better ways to set up background. Executions is boring with lack of substance. And considering how many are out there now, it definitely lacks a good impression. And honestly first chapters dont have to explain everything
Well this is just the first chapter and first chapters aren’t always impressive or good. I would at least wait until 5 or 10 chapters before i really criticize it. I doubt this will ever be updated tho.
hmmm, so far boring. Like it's rushing to hit every cliche. Ded, manga, villain, not related brother, how to avoid?? I havent learned a single thing about the story itself! Don't have much hope for it. Especially when you go around and read stories with similar themes and does well.
