I disagree. In An Easy Target ch 17 they are seen to be a new couple, when Kyung-soo went to M. It was before Ian got the ring.
Why do I feel like the author wanted him to end up with the red guy but then switched it to the gray haired guy last minute. The red haired guy had so much involvement in the plot then disappeared
