I get how you feel, but in most asian countries heterosexuality is so ingrained in society's mindset that having any other sexuality is considered to be out of the norm, it's something that people are bullied about excessively or even lynched or cyber bullied. So people would prefer to pretend or act out to ensure that no one get's to know. Some people even get married pretending that they are straight. So when I read this manga and got to the seme's chapter I was surprised at how mild his reaction was. He literally did one thing i.e, throw water on the uke's face and yell at him. I honestly thought that he would've done worse, along the lines of beating him up/ harassing him, etc. The seme was a child who grew up in a society where the norm is to be heterosexual and he freaked out when he realised that he was, it was a perfectly normal reaction. I'm not saying that it was right of him to react that way to the uke, but he was scared and thought that he could hide it this way, so he pretended to others and himself and managed to continue the charade until he just couldn't.
I am glad that he didn't try to pretend that he didn't do what he did and that he repented sincerely, to the uke. I'm proud of how far the seme and the uke have come in terms of character development and I look forward to reading the rest of this manga. I think that they compliment each other and that they're equally possessive of each other, thereby keeping their relationship a healthy, mutual and consensual one.
Thank you to whomever had the patience to read this huge ass comment of mine.

I understand your point of view but, precisely because he was scared and KNEW what happened when you become an outcast, I just can't really...idk.
Yes, his reaction was mild in comparison to others(which does not make it in any way better), and I understand that he was scared and that the situation got out of his hand, but at the same time, I cannot overcome the fact that he basically ruined someone's life because was scared of ruining his. Yes, he didn't participate in the physical stuff, but he never stopped the others, either.
How could you ever do that to anyone?
More so to someone you care for?!?!
He didn't even appear to feel that bad about it in the first years.
What I do appreciate, however, is that they didn't gloss it over. I've seen a lot of mangas gloss bullying and rape over, and every time I'd get disgusted. Personally, you can never truly repent enough, but he's on the correct path, I guess.
Also, don't apologise for writing a long paragraph. I mean, look at mine.
I...feel very conflicted over the seme :/
On one hand, he's a scummy piece of shit. He didn't really care about how he basically ruined someone's life until he realised he actually needed something from him(his love) to be happy.
He also took advantage of and played a many girls only to break their hearts.
He is the worst.
But then on the other...he was a child, too, and possibly very afraid. It does not, in any way, offset his wrongdoings, but I'm glad he became better and stood up for him and his boyfriend later on.
