We have similar way of cooking, but I don’t use any brown sugar or ketchup. Instead I use that maggi seasoning

Quick spam recipe is rice, scrambled egg, some onions cooked in a little soy sauce and brown sugar, topped with green onion and ketchupmayo all over that spam!!
