Haebom never had a backbone, but he thinks of Taesung in his own way. Of course he isn't going to go forth at a full speed with his personality. Taesung is somewhat aware of it.
I dont know where you are from but Korea is VERY conservative. and homosexuality is not viewed positivly by elders, so since this is his first job he might be scared to show people that they are together. Just by sharing their sexuality can impact their work relations, sadly. And yes im also quite sad that the communication is not there... He should really share his feelings with Taesung

i love haebom but i feel sorry for taesung. why couldn’t haebom have discussed his concerns about the ring with taesung? He really didn’t even take his feelings into consideration. As a gay man, facing discrimination won’t be uncommon in his life but one day he’s going to learn to just accept it and not be embarrassed of his identity. taesung kept his ring on and haebom takes it off without even talking to taesung. TT why do some of these characters have no backbone like fuck what people say. you don’t need to answer questions about your personal life. you go to work to get the job done and as long and you’re good at what you do the rest shouldn’t bloody matter
