Actually, it seems, with some allergies, it is possible to build immunity though exposure. Granted, it was dangerous to do it the as quickly as the duke did it, but it's possible.

I'm not trying offend you, but I just thought you should know.

Yeah, i did know of someone who got rid of her allergies that way. Its actually very painful. I was never able to do it.

Also pet owners who are allergic to pets. They keep thier pets to build tolerance to them.

So i was reading this new article. In terms of medical information. New information is always popping out everyday.

    Read this

Dr do recommend kids who are possibly allergic to peanuts eat it early to build tolerance. Well of course with supervision of a Dr. But its best to do it as a young age. (Byw i picked peanuts because its a common allergy and i remember the new recommended advice on it.)

isn't it called exposure therapy or something? I remember reading something about a person who has germ phobia and the therapist tries to make him touch trash or something like that.

Yea I know, but it's mostly with allergies like pollen or dust. In this case, it's a food allergy moreover a severe one. He didn't do it in small doses to build up immunity and it was self administered. I should clarify, I mean he was more likely to die than actually get desensitized to peaches. I doubt they have EpiPens in this story universe.

If you read the article linkni posted. Thats food. Also people have died eating peanuts.

Studies have shown to reduce a bad or possibly death reactions. You need to start the tolerance and eat peanuts early as a child. Of course with supervision.

The thing with allergies is that it affects people differently. A girl died from a kiss because her boyfriend eat a peanut butter sandwich.

But that doesnt mean its 100% death and its not always 100% successful. But because food allergies can be deadly these are the new studies and findings. This is the new way to combat food allergies at a young age.

Also i want to note the reasons why its always small does at first because of the uncertainty of the outcome. But idk how much ml took. I highly doubt he was eating buckets of peaches everyday.

Anyway the human body is pretty amazing and there are individual that have defied science. So it can happen.
