i felt the same and i truly hated him but when i saw that the duke was talking about using him as a puppet, i changed my mind. what if the duke had been manipulating the prince into believing that tia was evil? with the current timeline, his personality does not, at all, match up with his past life. it doesn't make any sense at all that he would come to hate tia without reason. i'm sure you saw the note before, but trust the author ! haha me too, glad i found someone similar. and to be honest, he does work with creepy old purple dude for a bit but cuts things off with him when he tried to kill tia. his actions will be explained, but he really did love tia, he was just a bit obsessive because he never had someone to love him. you'll see!! keep reading, it's super good
