That happened? That’s too bad. That’s so much pressure on Falma because he showed potential. Though I love how the plot is going on now, if that will happen after the plague, that’ll be really frustrating. I also want to see Falma having enjoyable days as a child with his family & friend.
Is the story completed? Did Falma became the Head of that new department?

The novel is in hiatus, and Falma did became the head of the new department. The vice chairman did not let him make an excuse to refuse. It’s extremely frustrating, he’s only 11 years old for goodness’ sake! And the fact that his father even had the guts to tell Falma that he doesn’t want his son treating patients (esp commoners) in pharmacy is even more frustrating. He mentioned once that he wants to go to a hotspring. The empire don’t have it, and since they don’t want Falma to go anywhere else, they built a huge hotspring for him to use lmao ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Omg I only saw your comment lmao my bad. Here it is:

I want to rant after reading the novel. So spoilers ahead:
So... after defeating the evil spirit all by himself, and casting the spell to protect everyone from the plague, the academy made a new department solely for new medicine type of thing. AND THEY WANTED FALMA TO BE THE HEAD. His father was not saying anything, just watching how Falma would respond and all. And Falma was all there thinking, “my schedule for this year until next year is already full. I cannot even rest. Why are they making me the head of a new department?” For heaven’s sake. He’s already 11 years old in this life, and all the time, he was trying so hard to refuse, but the academy wouldn’t budge. They wanted him to be the head no matter what. I’m just so sad because all the time, he was thinking that if this keeps up, then he might die out of overworking in this life too, just like his past life. And his father wouldn’t help him refuse and it was honestly maddening. His father said because the vessel of God is only here for a short time, so instead of making him treat the patients in the pharmacy, they want him to leave a legacy that could save more people and make a tons of disciples worthy of his name. UGH. CAN Y’ALL UNDERSTAND MY AND FALMA’S FRUSTRATION?! Please, make the kid rest. Even he himself is afraid of overworking. He also said that saving people is important, but his health is important, too. They’re honestly putting too much burden to him, and it breaks my heart whenever I read his narration... ╥﹏╥
