He is not acting like a weak girl. I mean people treated him badly his whole life, he is mute, has a small/ weak body and couldn't write until he met the ML (he had no way to defend himself). Also he is really young, all alone, has no status or power and he is scared that people will find out he truth about him. I think in his situation it is normal to be the way he is.
