I don't think it escalated real quick. I mean he's been pursuing the store clerk for one year. Its just that Mr.Chen is assertive but I feel that sex is a bit kinda forced even with the consent , and damn those hands move faster than the spread of covid19, its a sexual harrassment on that part. And I think its meant to be fast paced since its just a short story. Its yaoi afterall so readers are to encounter sex scenes as soon as the story starts
