When you have been with someone for sometime and break up, cut ties, death, whatever, you can't but think about the past person or persons. You can't get away from these thoughts, it might come a time when you start forgetting their faces, their voices but humans remember those old feelings.
Taking it lightly is stupid. Such things need time. Haesoo can't forget Joowon. It has not even been that long. He was his first experience. Good or bad does not matter. Everything what had an impact on you will pop up anytime.

People are irritated by how Haesoo still thinks of Joowon even when he already has Taekyung. I mean, calm down, people. Don't drag Haesoo just for him to easily forget his feelings for Joowon. Of course, that won't just happen in just a snap. Him and Joowon are together for a long time that's why he's couldn't forget him right away. You guys need to be patient and stop making Haesoo, the bad guys here. Can't you see, this is just the process. Obviously, there will be heartaches in the process and that's what were seeing now in their situation.
I like how Taekyung is just hanging on, patiently waiting for Haesoo to trully love him. So, yeah. If Haesoo's gonna immediately erase his feeling for Joowon, then where's his grow on that? And also, I won't seriously make sense if that's going to happen.
