Yeah it's a bit weird. It feels like some of the pages are missing or something. It jumps from one moment straight into something else. I'm wondering if this story is being rushed or if it's just bad pacing.
I thought the exact same thing. Some of the translations are quite awkward
If you read the other manga by this author, although it’s unrelated, I found the same thing. The pacing is all over the place. The story jumps without any clear explanations.
