Let’s think about it this way, mafuyu was yukis soulmate but yuki wasn’t his, I genuinely believe that mafuyu and ue are the best for eachother not only because they help eachother develop they also aren’t too co dependent like mafuyu and yuki were. Being too codependent can began to be really toxic, ue understands that mafuyu loves him and that yuki will always be apart of him it’s what makes their relationship healthy. It’s best to just let yuki and mafuyu go since even if yuki didn’t commit not alive, their relationship wouldn’t have been what was best for them ( this is my opinion sorry if it seems disrespectful ╥﹏╥ )
In another lifetime, world or universe. I genuinely hope Mafuyu and Yuki are happily together ╥﹏╥ and for Uenoyama, you are doing great for comforting and bringing Mafuyu back up his feet ╥﹏╥ i sincerely hope for everyone's happiness ╥﹏╥
