They do, or at least it seems so as in the next two chapters it shows the Emperor and the First son talking. And it appears they are talking about that brat as he said some things about the Emperor and his first wife that made the twins feel insecure so they runaway outside where they meet their guardian who comforts them and gives them some assurance.
And (if I remember correctly)after the kids are found and brought back to the palace the Emperor and the First Prince look like they are in a protective-killer mode.
Whoah! It happens very soon!!! OMG! I'm so excited and can't wait to see The First Prince get more protective to lovely siblings ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I forgot to mention this but while they were talking the Emperor recalls the trauma he had when the twins mother forces herself onto the Emperor FORCING him to have sex as he says something which frightens the twins as they are listening outside the door.(〜￣△￣)〜
Whatever he said seems to have frightened the twins so I hope this doesn't lead into a long lasting misunderstanding as it's clear the Emperor and his family are trying but the twins' trust is a very low so hopefully they will mend up any and all misunderstandings and trust issues in due time.(▰˘◡˘▰)
I hope too, the twins is no longer to misunderstanding with The Emperor. I think, everything happens in the past, The Emperor still love the twins no matter what. That chapter made me so sad, honestly. When conflict between The Emperor and the twins it's so fragile y'know. That family is so cute being together.
That brat actually looks like his father!!! Ugh! I hope their brothers caught as soon as possible.
