old money can last long if used well. he probably makes it grow someone. with agriculture or business ventures.
Lords have lands, they lend it to their villagers and make them pay taxes. They usually also have many stores and such and employed ppl to manage it. So they only need to sit and enjoy while money keeps flowing. Well sometimes they need to supervise their workers too tho but ofc not often. That's what i know.
But like.... What is Seung Ho's job? How does he make money? I don't think it has been mentioned. I know his family his noble and rich, but that doesn't pay the bills and the servants. And if his parents were ever to cut him off, he should have his own income
