I just think Dongha and Sanho have different love languages. Dongha obviously shows his love through actions. Taking in Sanho, providing for him, and um.. all the sex. Imo, Dongha probably likes Sangho more than Sangho likes him, his thoughts are just stuck behind his poker face. In Dongha's head he probably thinks Sanho knows that he's crazy in love with him. If he says any more he'll prob drive Sangho away from how crazy obsessed with Sanho he is...
Sanho's love language is through words of affirmation. I think if Sanho just sits down Dongha without being in the heat of the moment or being drunk or whatever and actually says, I want to hear you say 'I love you.' Dongha would say it. Also, it's been mentioned multiple times in the story that Dongha sometimes can't tell what Sanho is thinking, just like how Sanho can't tell what Dongha's thinking which is worsened by his abandonment issues. None of them are mind readers so they need to sit down and use words okay.
