Prob did it out of fear but yea telling his side is the least he couldve done
AH i also forgot to mention that it's very likely his parents quickly arranged for him to transfer out before he could muster up the courage to say anything too since the parents wouldn't want this bullying incident to "stain their child's school record" since that unfortunately could be a thing. it's rough :(
