i want him to start anew and start fresh but at the same time i mean he did lose a lover so i guess its not going to be easy to forget

I still believe Ye Li is Li Zhu tho, bc that bit with the tree spirit was too sus and the fact that bits of Li Zhu telling that he'll come back is shown frequently says something.
(Maybe it's just my heart desperate for love transcending reincarnation and time but based on my experience with this type of plot I'm pretty sure) Even if they're not the same person, I'm fine with it tho
