I'm pretty sure he's not murdering people, he's just getting rid of those who have been possessed.
That could be it, but since he's an adult at that point we can't be so sure. Yeah he looked sad over what he found out, but like most of her ML, they become really mean and screwed up in their adult years. Plus I saw someone said he ends up having a split personality because of the curse? So maybe his second personality is the one who is doing the killing, not like revenge would be out of the question either.

Well this story just might end up being more painful than her previous ones. I can only imagine the hell he'll go through once the former crown prince grows older into a tyrant. Or so that's what it seems will happen since that first chapter showed him murdering people.
