yikes. This is a cliched mess. Was so hoping for just nice chubby character who’s okay with his weight and is accepted and loved for who he is. But lols shame on me for thinking it would be possible to read that kind of plot.

But okay, I kinda wish I can see who Satou is but there’s no other work from this author
Yeah same but who knows maybe he gets chubby again in a cliche way like the guy says he doesn’t care about his weight or whatever and satou get cute again.... but in my opinion not likely I think the chubbiness is the lingering depression and feelings he has of the past lover and his trauma. And him getting skinning show he hasn’t given up on love and has gotten over his feeling and ready to move on becoming strong enough to face the prejudice of being in a same sex relationship
I only saw bits and pieces of the raws in Twitter post but it seems..... Spoiler Warning.. maybe my opinion at least
Mimasaka (scary looking dude) is in love with his friend Katou(who is the main character from the author other work) the katou guy I think has a lover already. And out MC Satou(our plump cutie) bears a resemblance to him well at least the cat eyes. Satou was once skinny and knows he was gay as a kid and it shows he had sex or was about to with someone and it didn’t work and through depression he gotten chubby. He starts to like mimasaka but mimsaka is only interested because he looks like katou and kinda says mean things like calling him fatso I guess because he resembles the person he loves but is chubby so he doesn’t like it. But I think they will fall for each other since Satou is so smiley and pure. they attempt to have sex in ch 2 when he is chubby and it doesn’t work out and Satou cries and tries to slim down. He turn super slim like before and really cute. After he becomes skinny again I saw pic of him meeting someone that looks like the guy that caused him to get chubby in the first place. It seems like they were on okay terms so maybe he could be a character that sparks jealousy in mimasaka
