the king didn’t mention it himself, I believe the MC (I don’t remember names that well) heard the location of where they were meeting and was reminded of the past and knew the current king would make him view the flowers with him just as the old king did, that why the king says “I didn’t mention flower viewing” bc he didn’t but the MC already knew
idk why he said he “didn’t mention anything about flowers” when he said “flower viewing” ?? like 2 pages before
