Yeah she learned it from her dad ofc. A really unhealthy form of love tbh. And yeah the guy sucked at communication like hardcore but also when I remember my teen years that was kinda me as well- not that bad but I definitely ruined my relationships that way
I used to hate the ex for dumping her but after all the flashbacks I don’t blame him for doing it! Her love is overwhelming!
I couldn’t imagine dating someone at the age of 18 who insisted I go to college and hand me a check book of their money. (Maybe if they were filthy rich but she certainly was not) That would make me so uncomfortable. I see why she thought that was normal but as a relatively normal person myself, that is waaaaaaay too overbearing. Especially considering how young they were back then.
