That's what I was thinking because my little sister was late with the talking but she is SUPER smart.
I don't think so .. My cousin wouldn't talk much when he was young, but could easily follow commands. It wasn't until he went to daycare and was around other kids more frequently that his speech began to improve, which is apparently very common, especially for children that don't have siblings.

also by saying it sucks that hyesung yelled at him, i'm not trying to invalidate his own struggles/trauma. as a kid, i've been yelled at for not understanding a word or not pronouncing it correctly. as a parent never take your frustrations out on your children no matter what.
maybe byul is on the autism spectrum? idk, i've seen kids who has the same issue that byul is having. still sucks that hyesung yelled at him.
